soil2heat - Oberflächennahste Geothermie und Kalte Nahwärme 4.0
We are a ZIM funded network on very shallow geothermal systems and district heating and cooling. The network is coordinated by the Geozentrum Nordbayern of the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. We implement innovative projects in the field of grid-connected heat supply via district heating and cooling by providing very shallow geothermal energy close to the ground surface up to a maximum depth of 5 m. Phase 1 of the network was completed on December 31, 2019. On April 1st, 2020 we started our international network (phase 2) together with Austrian Partners. From Germany 13 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), 6 associated partners and 4 research institutions participate in the network. From Austria 7 partners are participating in the network.
